"Money, money, money, Must be funny, In the rich man's world….” Were the words that sung by ABBA from my Dads phone when I was a penniless university student and forever borrowing money from the band of Mum and Dad (which I’m proud to say I paid back).
As my father is an accountant by trade I was always taught to save my pennies. For a long time this teaching was ignored, but finally with a stable career in nursing and my fashion blog doing well I am able to save each month as well as a few choice purchases.
This list below is my current accessories ‘hit list’ which means I will look at them online at least once a day, (usually in bed at night) sigh and close the tabs down as I decide that I have more important things to be spending money on and saving for…. But that doesn’t mean I can’t admire them. Who knows, maybe I’ll treat myself with one of them soon…
The absolute ‘IT bag’ of 2016 for me was the Chloe Faye. I can’t see myself ever purchasing the full size bag but I sure would settle for the mini! Look out for this seasons ‘Mily’ and ‘Lexa’ bags here
This scarf is life. I cannot wait to own one at some point. Who doesn’t love cashmere and check prints in winter? Burberry nailed this winter staple which every winter I swoon over!
Gucci’s Horsebit-detailed shearling-lined leather slippers may be all the rage at present but I’m more in favour of their Bamboo-trimmed leather pumps (£560). I love the low 2 inch heel which is beautifully crafted with the signature Gucci green, red and white stripe and buckle detail.
Please note prices may vary from those listed.
