10 THINGS ABOUT ME

..that you probably didn't know!

1. I'm a full time nurse

I think I'm quite lucky in life because I have more than one passion.

As a child I had two career goals:-

One: to be a princess

Two: be a nurse

I didn't quite make the cut as a princess but I think that being a fashion and lifestyle blogger is pretty magical! I also love being a nurse, as a child I wanted to grow up to be like my Aunt who is a nurse in Sydney.

2. I have no social life ;)

I think the above is pretty self explanatory as I have a full time career and all of my spare time is taken up with my blog work/photography. I'm quite happy though, I think I've become a bit of a home bird.

3. My husband and I have been friends for 15 years

I used to write 'I love James' in my school books (haha!). We dated when we were 18 and went our separate ways when we went to university but found each other again 8 years later <3

4. Family is the most important thing to me

For a long time I think I took my family for granted. It was only after my world was turned upside down and I moved home that I realised just how important my family are to me and how lucky I am to have them!

5. Rhinoplasty

When I was 23 I had surgery to improve the shape of my nose, I'd wanted surgery for 10 years and it gave me a massive confidence boost

6. I can lick my own elbow - freaky

Its my party piece, I have a rare connective tissue disorder in a mild form which means I am hyper-mobile and extra freaky!

7. I have 9 walk in wardrobes and 2 large dressers filled with clothes.

Carrie Bradshaw ain't got nothing on me ;)

8. I don't live in London - and I don't intend to!

I live in the town that I grew up in mainly but I've also lived in; the Cotswolds, Oxford, The Wirral, Salford and Manchester. I couldn't move back to city living, despite appearances I'm a country girl at heart!

9. I have a black cat called Mia

- Who is impossible to take a decent photo of, I'm besotted with her. Her nickname is 'The Whore' because she wins over everyone who doesn't like cats.

10. I bite my nails

Worst habit ever and I blame my Mum as she does the same!
