Think Pink - Sigma beauty

I was sent some amazing goodies from Sigma to try out. One box contained a variety of their 3DHD brushes, another contained some makeup and the third held their Sigma Spa Express Mat. Having tried them all and tested them out I wanted to share what I found with you!

As someone who nearly always wears nude/peach shades I was slightly wary of trying out pink lipstick, eye shadow and blusher. I haven’t used pink tones on my skin or lips for such a long time!

Lipliner – Power liner in ‘Carnation’

This self propelling lip pencil is creamy to apply and sets beautifully. I love that it is self-propelling (no shavings or pencil sharpeners in sight!). The finish is highly pigmented and I actually love it on its own, or with a bit of gloss!

Lipcrayon – Power Crayon in ‘Rubicund’

This lip crayon is also self propelling (handy!). Its also creamy but really stays well on my lips!

Eyeshadow – Café Au Lait (chocolatey brown) and – Passion Fruit (pink)

The eyeshadows have beautiful pigmenting, you will pick a lot up on your brush unlike the MAC counterparts so make sure to tap off the excess. Café au lait is beautiful for a chocolatey smokey eye look which really made my green/blue eyes stand out and after seeing Gigi Hadid wearing an all pink eyeshadow look I figured I’d give it a whirl received some lovely comments off people!

Eyeliner – ‘Legend Line Ace’ (black)

This has to be my favourite of the collection. Liquid liner can be my best friend or worst enemy (depending on the day!). This liquid liner has a long thing brush which is surprisingly easy to maneuver. The line is strong and it is easily my favourite eyeliner at the moment for a decent cat eye look. It does stay on all day however it can crack slightly so a top up or a few coats is advised.

Sigma Spa express brush cleaning glove-

I cant say I particularly enjoy my weekly makeup brush cleaning sessions but this mit does speed up the process and makes it more fun. It also speeds the process up and gives brushes and much deeper clean (perfect for lazy brush cleaners like me! I especially love the refine texture to make sure all the soap is out of your brush.

Brushes

I have been lusting after Sigma brushes for a while so I was delighted to receive a good number of them to try out. I love their black handles which remind me of the classic MAC brushes that we all know and love. I always feel that black brushes are the classiest of the bunch. I received 3 eye brushes and two face brushes.

  • Soft angled contour F23

This brush is amazing! The bristles are so soft, it fits perfectly into my cheek bone area and is perfect for a soft, natural contour.

  • 3DHD Kabuki

Love the brush. It's thick, short and soft. Can be used for light application if you want a thin coverage but is also good for repeated cover, and leaves no streaks. Overall, great brush, and the angles are perfect for that fine sweep and nooks around the nose. Good for contour too.

  • 3DHD Precision

A really perfect brush for under the eye concealer and for specific contour placement. It gets into hard to reach places and it buffs small areas beautifully. Great to use for contouring and for brightening the under eye area.

  • Buff and blend – E39

This brush is amazing blending out my crease colour. Its good for definition in the crease also perfect for a smokey eye look.

  • Medium sweeper – E54

This is now my daily go to brush to apply eye shadows on my lid. A definite staple for eyeshadow lovers.
