Lash power Finding a good mascara is like winning the jackpot. For me, the rule ‘less is more’ doesn’t apply when it comes to lashes. I always apply at least two coatings before leaving the house. Once I find a mascara I like, I tend to swear by it for years. I was recently sent Eyeko’s “Long & Tall” lengthening skinny brush mascara. Being long and tall myself at 6ft 1” I can relate to this mascara! The packaging is delightful and comes with the quote “my lashes are too long – said no one ever”. From the outset it would appear we are a match made in heaven, however I’m skeptical when trying out any new mascara, as I love my trusted tube. Before applying my mascara I always curl my lashes at the base and again half way up. This opens my eyes up and for this mascara it is important, as it isn’t a curling wand. The skinny brush makes it so simple to apply and reaches even the tiniest hairs at the inner corners of my eyes. The mascara is water- resistant and jet black which I love. I went to the gym in it this morning and tested it against my sweaty spinning class and it stayed in place completely!
