The 6th Best Beach

I woke up this morning with very sore shoulders. Why you might ask? Well yesterday I went quad biking for the first time - and it was awesome.

The reason for my adventure on the quad bike was however to see one of the best beaches in the world (number 6 according to The Daily Telegraph).

Having endured a 2 hour journey via quad through Martian like terrain we arrived at 18km of unspoilt beauty.

Santa Monica beach was pure white sand, the sea that beautiful turquoise you see in photos and there wasn't a building or road in sight and the only people there were the rest of our tour.

Heaven.

Unfortunately, we were told that a well known hotel chain has bought land and plan to build on the beach.

I feel privileged to have seen the beach in its natural form before humans change the landscape of it forever, and I must say, I agree with The Daily Telegraph.
