IS FASHION RETAIL HEADING BACK TO BRICKS AND MORTAR?

Brainchild of “The 30-Year Sweatshirt,” Tom Cridland has opened a flagship store on London’s Kings Road. After graduating from the University of Bristol in 2014 with a degree in Modern Languages, he took out a £6,000 Government start-up loan in order to create his own menswear brand and in his first year he managed to turn over £250,000.

The fashion industry is the second least environmentally friendly trade, second only to oil. As an initiative to creating long-lasting, environmentally friendly products, Tom Cridland developed the 30 year sweatshirt and t-shirt, which are guaranteed to last for 30 years....
